Cyanine5 hydrazide是用于标记醛和酮的活性染料。是Cy5® hydrazide的类似物。
该染料能够很容易与含羰基的分子以近乎理想化的程度反应。比如承受氧化压力的蛋白，糖基化的蛋白通过高碘酸氧化作用重新活化（包括抗体），含醛基的寡核苷酸。
Cyanine5 hydrazide可以替代carbonyl-reactive Cy5®, Alexa Fluor 647, DyLight 649等染料。
